Augmented Reality Playing Cards

• This course will teach you the process I use to create immersive experiences with playing cards that you can apply to your art making practice and your own personal projects 

Next, we’ll dive into the Unity game engine and Vuforia AR engine, where we’ll learn how to create an image target for our playing card, import and rig 3D models of our characters, and add sound and particle effects to our card.

We’ll also explore how to design and build a user interface that allows us to control the augmented features of our playing card, including buttons to summon, withdraw, attack, and defend the card. This user interface will be the key to bringing our augmented playing card to life and providing a truly immersive and interactive experience for the player.

By the end of the course, you’ll have a fully functional and immersive augmented playing card that you can share with your friends and family, showcasing your skills and creativity with art and technology. You’ll also gain a solid foundation in the process of creating augmented reality experiences, which you can apply to other projects in the future.

In addition to the technical skills, you’ll also gain an understanding of the potential of AR technology in traditional card games. You’ll explore some of the innovative uses of AR in card games, such as enhancing the visual and auditory experience, creating interactive elements, and adding digital elements to the game.
